-
Ensure the surface is smooth and dry.
-
Wait at least 4-5 weeks before applying to freshly painted walls.
2. Measure & Plan
-
Decide how high you want your panels (typically 90–120cm from the floor).
-
Use a level and pencil to gently mark a straight line across the wall.
-
Then one plumb line up the wall to get your panels level. (do not line up the egde with a corner as they are often not perfectly level.
- This will be your guide for the top & edge of the scalloped panel.
3. Layout the Panels
-
Before peeling, lay out the panels to check alignment.
-
Start from one side of the wall and work across.
-
If trimming height, do so from the bottom edge so the scallops stay intact.
4. Apply the Panels
-
Peel the top edge of the backing and line up with your guidelines.
-
Stick the top edge first, then slowly peel and press down the rest of the panel, following your vertical line.
-
Smooth from top to bottom using a soft squeegee or soft cloth to remove bubbles.
-
Line up the next panel carefully to continue the scallop pattern.
Trimming & Finishing
-
Trim around skirting boards or sockets with a sharp blade or scissors.
-
Overlap or edge-match corners for a neat finish.
